Grant by Elizabeth I to Jane Lovell, 16 July 1591. The Queen grants to Jane Lovell, widow of the late John Lovell, the right to the offices held by him at her palace in Richmond, as keeper of the Queen's Garden with responsibility for 'Weedings, Sandinge, Soylinge, and other necessaries yerely to be done in the same garden and orchard', at an annual fee of ten pounts and twenty pence.
