List of drowned passengers on RMS Titanic, April 1912 RMS Titanic sank in the early hours of 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. Of the 2228 passengers and members of the crew aboard, only 705 survived.

Passengers' chances of survival largely depended on the class in which they were travelling. First-class passengers fared the best, with about 60% surviving. Only 25% of third-class travellers were rescued.

This page is taken from the return of passengers who died on board and lists some of the 721 third-class passengers who perished. The list shows that although the Titanic was a British ship, it carried passengers from all over the world, including Paris, Copenhagen, Syria, Finland and New York.
