Miniature Gothic Font, c.1840 This miniature Wedgwood porcelain font is in the gothic style and has been dated to about 1840. It was formerly used for baptisms in the Rolls Chapel at the PRO's former site in Chancery Lane. The Rolls Chapel was used for the celebration of divine service from 1232 until 1895.

The last person to be baptised in the Chapel, on 20 June 1892, was William Wallace Howell. He was the son of Annie Augusta and William Archibald Howell, organist in the Rolls Chapel.
