(13km/8m NE of Belfast) The park of Cultra Manor, at Holywood, is the site of some 25 buildings of different kinds from Northern Ireland, re-erected here and appropriately furnished. Custom-built galleries also develop the theme of local crafts and domestic life. The Folk Museum, established in 1958, was combined in 1967 with the Belfast Transport Museum – adding to the collection a wide range of items used or made locally, from sledges and horse-drawn vehicles to aircraft.
