(c.1591) Tragedy by *Shakespeare, possibly with a collaborator, consisting of an unending succession of gory murders and mutilations in ancient Rome. Perhaps dating from as early as 1590, its main interest (shared with *Henry VI) is as a work of apprenticeship.
