Swansea porcelain
|
|
Earthenware pottery was made at Swansea from the 1760s, but the factory is known in particular for the porcelain with delicately painted decoration which was produced from 1814, when William Billingsley brought the technology from *Nantgarw. The factory reverted to earthenware after only eight years, in 1822.
