Soho

|
(London W1) The area lying west of Charing Cross Road, bounded by Oxford Street to the north and Leicester Square to the south. It has traditionally been cosmopolitan, with many French and Italian restaurants (today the southern part of Soho is London's Chinatown), but in recent decades it has been increasingly taken over by strip clubs and sex shops.
