Scots, wha hae

(Lowland Scottish for 'Scots, who have')
The opening words of a song by *Burns which is often sung at Scottish gatherings. It is supposedly the speech of Robert the Bruce to his troops on the eve of *Bannockburn. In the opening line he addresses them as 'Scots, wha hae wi' *Wallace bled'.
