Music While You Work
|
|
(BBC 1940–67) Radio programme, consisting of a non-stop medley of popular tunes, devised at the lowest ebb of Britain's fortunes in World War II (June 1940) to enthuse the workers in the factories. The music was played by a different band each day and was introduced by an Eric *Coates signature tune, Calling All Workers.
