|
(stage name of William Pratt, 1887–1969) British character actor who spent most of his career in Hollywood and became known for one part in particular – that of the monster in Frankenstein, which he first played in 1931. He continued to have a varied career in other films, on Broadway and at the end of his life on British TV, but it is as the monster that he is remembered.
