(1925) Comedy by Noel *Coward, making the most of the eccentricities of an artistic family. Judith Bliss is an actress and her husband David a novelist; they and their two eccentric children, Sorel and Simon, each invite a guest for the weekend. The comedy derives from the indignities suffered by four ordinary people in this inconsiderate bohemian setting; the Bliss family are so absorbed in their mutual bickering that they fail to notice the departure of their guests.
