, known as The Bhoys (Celtic Park, Glasgow). Football club with a long history of rivalry with *Rangers. They share the honours as Scotland's two most successful teams. Rangers has Protestant support whereas Celtic is Roman Catholic; it was founded in 1888 by Irish Catholics in the east end of Glasgow to raise money for needy children. In 1967 Celtic became the first British team to win the European Cup.
