International yachting trophy presented in 1957 by the Royal Ocean Racing Club to encourage foreign yachts to race in British coastal waters. The event is held every other August and coincides with *Cowes week. Each nation is allowed to enter three boats, which compete in a series of inshore and offshore races off the south coast of England. The final event is the *Fastnet Race.
