Lord Curzon
|
|
(George Nathaniel Curzon, 1859–1925, baron 1898, marquess 1921) Viceroy of India (1899–1905) and foreign secretary (1919–24). His most lasting contribution is to be seen in India, where the restoration of many of the subcontinent's ancient monuments was undertaken during his period as viceroy.
