The last of the great three-masted tea-clippers, designed to sail at maximum speed to the London market with a precious cargo of fresh tea from China. Launched in Scotland (Dumbarton 1869), and named after the provocative young witch in *Tam o' Shanter, she has been in dry dock at *Greenwich and open to visitors since 1957.
